The installation was a breeze, all the hardware was recognised immediately, and the User Interface was the most intuitive of all the Linux distros I sampled.
In Ireland, we had a debate earlier this year on e-voting. The government tried to impose e-voting on the entire country but hadn’t properly thought their strategy through.

Possibly in order to prevent a similar incident in California, Arnold Schwarzenegger recently signed into law a bill which requires a voter-verified paper record in all counties statewide by the 2006 primary.
Voters will not be able to touch or keep the records, but county registrars will keep them in lock boxes in case of recounts or audits.
Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) is an affliction made famous in several movies such as The Three Faces of Eve and Sybil.
Tiger, the name of the next release of Apple’s OS X, seems to be suffering from MPD! An article in the AppleInsider shows that Apple don’t yet appear to have settled on an interface for Tiger - it currently seems to have at least two different looks - Aqua and brushed aluminium.
What will Apple settle on? - personally, I like the brushed aluminium look, so that’s what I’m hoping for.
