Tom - no problem - great to see you as usual. You presentation on your new business venture was interesting and I wish you every success in your plans to "go live".

Good to run into you on Saturday; and I'm glad the you liked the talk. The slides are now available here. Like Derek, I'm looking forward to Galway in September.

It was very good to put some faces to the names and get chatting.
I was surprised that many people left before the CIX talk but as Cormac Moylan pointed out it was probably because most people are designer/developer types and not hardware types.
Anyway, for what it's worth I found the CIX talk one of the best because it was well-presented and because I like (more-or-less) hard facts. Some of the design/social talks were great but the Data-Centre talk was a nice break from the intangible nature of the other presentations.
I'd be really interested to see how it turns out and I'll be following progress!

The Dublin BarCamp was a huge success, IMHO. I really enjoyed the day. Tom, your presentation on CIX was one of the suprise highlights for me. I wish you lots of success with the project.

Yeah, kudos to everyone who organised and presented on the day. I had a great time listening, learning, and arguing the toss.

Looking forward to the Galway meet in September.
