		<description>Do we really need twitter? In my humble opinion it is useless and time consuming. I believe IM is a lot better for conversations,and if you want to meet new people social networks are (or should be) the answer.</description>

thanks for clearing up what Twitter can be used for: networking. I've never really seen what the special deal about that site was, until now.

BTW - It's a huge hype here in the Netherlands as well, lots of people blogging about it and even setting up meetings for Twitters.
