		<description>Tom, did you even goo-- err, I mean, search?  I found &lt;a href="http://www.admuncher.com/"&gt;AdMuncher&lt;/a&gt; on my first pass.  It removes ads in IE as well as Firefox.  Now I can view &lt;a href="http://www.fark.com"&gt;Fark&lt;/a&gt; without all the distracting banner ads.</description>

It lets you use javascripts to change how a site looks and behaves. It ca clean up messy fonts and garish colour schemes etc as well as removing those annoying ad banners.</description>
