News like this sends me into a fit of rage.
Providing WiFi access to 700 (or more) people at a conference is not fecking brain surgery.
You just need qualified people who know what they’re doing.
Orange is a phone company and should stay away from WiFi.
Tell the organisers to give me a ring for the next conference we will take care of any wifi connectivity with guaranteed performance.

Well, it’s not been Orange’s Xmas, to be honest - they are getting bad press everywhere - Shutting down SmartGroups when they are advertising “Togetherness” in the UK and then cutting off all GRPS access for a day (http://www.mailspaces.com/spaces/smartsupport/discussion/threads/224264)
