I may cut out some of the tastier morsels and use them in my networking class. Would that be okay?

Greg, I'd be delighted - the more people who get to hear the likes of Vint Cerf, the better and if I can help students learning networking, all the better.

So I’m also thinking of moving the blog to a hosting site.

Probably a good idea - you should be able to get a reasonably good hosting deal easily enough.

Can you point me to a how-to about how to post podcasts using Structured Blogging tools?

The easiest way is to download the WordPress structured blogging plugin from structuredblogging.org, install it in your blog and from the menu, choose Write -> Audio (instead of the usual Write -> Post).

Yours are my favorite after “Naked Scientists.

After? ;-)

Thanks a million Greg - that's great to hear - spread the word - even better, throw up a link to PodLeaders.com on your site!

Tom,

I listened to the Vint Cerf interview. You are on to something good. I may cut out some of the tastier morsels and use them in my networking class. Would that be okay? I never had the opportunity to hear someone who really "invented the Internet", and I would like to share it with my students.

I loaded WordPress on my 128 Mbyte web server. It is so slow, especially if the machine has been sitting idle. So I'm also thinking of moving the blog to a hosting site.

I teach computer networking, and thought it might be interesting to post my recorded lectures. Can you point me to a how-to about how to post podcasts using Structured Blogging tools? The RSS/xml learning curve is sapping my inspiration.

In any case, thanks for the podcasts! The interview format is fantastic.
Yours are my favorite after "Naked Scientists".

Yeah - although, in fairness to him, when I spoke to Marc Canter last night, he did say that they are updating the plug-ins weekly - also, I know that the reviews look a lot better than this podcast post.

Eeek! Is this what structured blogging looks like? Needs work!

While I eventually puzzled out what I was looking at, initially I had no idea why you had posted 'Artist: Tom Raftery IT' etc...

I could easily have glanced at this and thought 'what a weird post...' before moving on without getting to the relevant content beneath that held the clues to decipher the headings above...
