Blip’s ToS are here. Unfortunately I don’t speak legalese so I’m not sure what they say(!).

This bit seemed reassuring though:

All user-generated content will be uploaded onto the site under a Creative Commons License (see http://www.creativecommons.org/) or on an all rights reserved basis. You agree to be bound by the terms of each license.

What are blip’s terms and conditions in relation to IP owership and their use rights over your uploaded stuff? I know YouTubes are the kind that are driving me off their site.

I know it’s naughty to keep the tinfoil hat this close to hand, but I can’t help wondering how long it’ll be before one of these sites abuses the “post direct to your blog” feature to post their own stuff on people’s blogs without authorisation. Or perhaps reserves the right to do so via a clause in their signup ToS. Obviously it would be an incredibly silly thing to do, but there’s a lot of marketers out there…
